Butterfly on inchie

I got a new camera for Christmas, got totally spoiled by my DH!

So, of course I had to try it out - I was really surprised how sharp the photo was! What a difference!

Grid behind an image

First I made made base with six patterned papers in dominant green.

I printed out the collage stamp I created, adhered it to a scrap of beige paper and centered it on the card.

Have a lovely Christmas!

Inchie photo

This is a tag I made this time last year. The inchie image is a favorite of mine, children round a Christmas tree.

Tag

I layered scraps of paper and then stamped over the top before I adhered the image and added a few flowers.

This brings back memories of certain papers I used to have but have no more... I like that.

Grid inspired by Photo

This was a challenge with a photo

I loved making this, it's right up my alley.

Lovely summer colors!

Unused project grid

I'd rather do something with these them leave them in the basket!

Grid

All Hero Arts stamps.

Fall grid

Before the winter sets in in France, I'll have to post my fall card. The vineyards change to these colors from October to end November.

I will have to think of a winter grid now.

One inchie on a card

This is another way to use a little image on a card. This was punched out of a stamped image which I did not use on a card.

All stamps are Hero Arts, my favorite!

A twinchie butterfly tag

I love doing projects like this.

This is about 2 inch square.

Unused projects transformed

To other cards using unused projects...

Inchie card

Inchie card - Summer fun

pulled together in a grid.

An inchie sentiment

The inchie on this card is the sentiment.

Delight

I stamped it on a scrap of paper that coordinated with the card colors.

A heart-shaped tag

These are not inchies but mini-mini-squares of tiny scraps which I adhered to a heart shaped tag.

scraps on tag

So glad I didn't throw any of these scraps in the bin!

Inchie on a tag

I used a partial part of the stamp of the little girl on my tag. This is another way of making an inchie.

Tag challenge - faces

If you think of an inchie that way and look at your stamps - the skies the limit!

Using unused stamping projects

Now and again I love to cut out squares of the nicest stamping elements on a gone-wrong project.

Grid

This is one of them. I love adhering little things to give it a finish, like the butterfly here.

Two inchies on dimensional panel

Updating my blog with the latest inchie cards.

PDCC chall

This was for a color challenge.

Inchies on a circle

I made this card a while ago but don't know what to think about it, just experimenting really and trying to use up the Maraposa papers I still have, and some scraps.

That paper pad has been so difficult to integrate into crafting!

Not inchies but very mini!

I used to make mini-cards - lots of them, don't make them anymore, but like tags they are a good replacement for a card on a little pressie.

Inchie Card Sketch #7

Well I'm not super inspired but did give this sketch a little try this afternoon.

I made a vintage inchie card using a Hero Arts sentiment.

Thank you to Lisa and the challenge can be found here.

Inchie Bird Arch

A little while ago I loved everything to do with birds.

Just couldn't get enough of nests, birds-eggs etc. I didn't think it would pass, but it has, just like that - but at least I have this souvenir to remind me of the downloads I made and the papers I used in that phase of crafting. It might come back again next year around Spring time.

Another forgotten inchie card

This card was made for one of the first Hero Arts challenges they held on the new blog.

This was made in 2008 too - nice to put it away safely in this blog - it's a way of saving it from the hard disk! (I do have a USB key by the way)

Different kinds of inchies

I hadn't even considered this old card as an inchie card, but it is, just different.

This one was made early 2008, just saw it in my files.
BTW, I have lost all my recent downloads and cards I made over the last year - just disappeared! Happily it doesn't effect me, but I'm sorry not to have them. All that work!

Patterned paper grid backgrounds

These were papers I bought from the Internet, I loved them so much. Ideal to use as a grid back panel for cards.

Here are two examples.

Inchie tag

I am updating my blog with creations that I haven't put in here yet because of the sketch challenge blog I discovered a week ago. I very much want to take part and use just this blog to do so.

This is a tag, not with inchies because these squares are punched with a much smaller punch.

I had forgotten this one

I found another inchie card that still had to be entered into the appropriate blog. It was for a color challenge on the Moxie Fab World blog.

Not my usual style, but thats what a challenge is all about!

By the way I used to love punched out butterflies, but I have seen that the stamped butterflies are gradually winning it from the punched out sort now!

Inchies on a card

I just found this card in my files that I had made in December 2007 - had to go into the appropriate blog.

I like the idea of inchies on a card. I used alcohol inks and I still use the same little bottles today. They last a long time!

Another grid sketch

I used the Hero Arts CardArt Thank You Flourish stamp, white and gold embossing and alcohol ink background for this card.

And this is the sketch which can be found on this blog.

New grid cards with alcohol inks

I had a request for these cards. A lady said that she would buy whatever I made, so I am in the process of creating. I really love dissecting a stamp after stamping and embossing it and then arranging it in a grid.

Of course it can be done in so many different ways, with different inks, colors, techniques. Actually the sky's the limit with inchie cards! Thats what I like about them.

I discovered a new blog - Inchie Inklings

Via Donna Mikasa, who wrote to me about an inchie blog she found, I can now make inchie cards according to some great sketches. The blog is here and is called Inchie INKlings. Love her work.

Using up the scraps for a little grid

I was tempted yesterday to throw away my littlest scrap basket - I feel the obsession to have to use everything and it can get very tiring...

The need to use up some scraps was why I created this, but it doesn't make any difference to the scraps that are still waiting!

Grid background

I gave this flower a grid background.

This is a flower stamp from Hero Arts.

Using up the scraps.. again

Another card, left unfinished, now finished. In February my sister and her friend are coming over to visit me - we all love crafting, so we will definitely be sharing card ideas!

I love using these colors together.

Scraps

Finally finishing off some cards I had unfinished in a basket.

Using up some scraps

Such a pity not to use up the small scraps, especially if it's basic grey!

Mix and match and added sewing

Another way to use up all the snippets and cut-outs which need to find a home. The added feature to this card is sewing, which I love to do ...
