Pinks!

I just wanted to create a little puzzle with my scraps. I puzzled the pinks with coordinating patterns and colors.

Hope you had a happy Christmas.

My favorite time of the Year

I love seeing the Summer change into Fall, the lightfall, the colder nights, the shorter days, the colors, etc.

All of the stamped images are Hero Arts and thanks to Stampersuzz, Sue, who sent me some of the papers I used.

Summer

It was a long while ago that I posted here. The summer days are too nice to spend indoors! I do have a card to share however.

Hope you are having an adventurous summer!

Mix and Match

I was busy making this puzzle when I saw a tag in between my punched out squares. I thought I would use it on my card in this way, adding a coordinating stamped out flower.

I love it that this represents the colors I have been working with lately, just the scraps, of course!
Have a lovely day. Unfortunately here the weather is cloudy, windy and cold.
ETA - Cath's challenge was launched on 12th of June and this is from the 12th of May - so four weeks previously which counts as an addition to her challenge.

Grid for Home Decor Project

This is one of my newest Grids for Home Decor projects. I chose the tones of orange/turquoise/shades of brown/green and black.

This is what it looks like when it has been framed. The size is 12"x8,5". They look very decorative in a small space, like just above a low cupboard for example. It is not for a huge wall as the only piece as it looses itself in that way.

I am thinking of doing a give-away of one of these very shortly on my other blog. The color theme will be all shades of blue, red and brown. But that is still a surprise.

Thanks for popping by. Oh by the way, if ever you feel like making one, they make perfect presents for birthdays or even weddings. I make these with butterflies too, perfect way to use up the scraps. To me, its like making puzzles.

Grid-Tag card

Because I love making them, another grid card, this time with tags, three in a row, vertically placed.

I chose coral, pink, grey and brown. I used the scraps I had in my basket. Unfortunately the scraps are diminishing in such a fast rate! But I'm glad I can find a home for everything I have and hardly throw anything away.
My tags are 8cm x 4cm and my card size is 13cm x 8cm, which for me is the standard size I usually use.

Have a lovely week of crafting!

Winners!

I won't keep you waiting any longer, I just got back from an eye-test. Before I went I had already picked out two names. I put all the names (and two times for those that visit this blog often)  in a cup, as there was nobody in the house I had to pick the winners myself.

First of all I picked out Laura-Jane, who said to have no desire for the stamp, so she gets a card, and then I had to pick another, which was Maria from Russia who will get the stamp.

So there you have it ladies. I wish I could do more, but its the luck of the draw!

O.K. so I just now picked a third name and that is... KAILASH - she will be getting a card from me too.

Congrats ladies!

A Tag-grid design and a give-away

As I have said in the past, a grid design can be all shapes and sizes. So this time I'm introducing the tag-grid, made from scraps.

These are so enjoyable to make and they give a home to all the little bits of paper, embellishments etc. that you may have. I hardly have to throw anything away.

Now, I have a give-away. The following photo was on my post of 1st April. I would like to give this stamp to anyone who could find a use for it. No use keeping it if I'm not going to use it. That is not what stamps are for.

So, if you are interested, leave a comment and I will pick a name on Wednesday. I will also be sending one of my inchie cards with it.
Good luck.

Using distress inks and water.

Inchies above a panel

Another inchie design. Not only does it allow you to use up the scraps but also scrap pieces of cardstock.

This was a stamped collage, changed into a grid.

Different shaped tag

Tags can be all shapes and sizes. Whatever the canvas is, inchies just fit onto it!

This was made a while ago.. from the scrap basket/ These are some of my favorite colors. Jacqueline

Colored background

Of course, you can always use white or beige for the background of a tag, but this time I wanted a different color and found this freebie on the Internet, took an instant liking to it and then used all the tiny scraps which I punched with a 1,8cmx1,8cm square punch.

LOVE doing these tags!

Have a lovely weekend.

Mix and match and added sewing

Another way to use up all the snippets and cut-outs which need to find a home. The added feature to this card is sewing, which I love to do ...
