Using an inchie doesn't have to be an addition to a focal point - it can be the focal point itself as this card shows.

A light colored grid

Using a lot of scrap pieces used during the last month - I haven't seemed to find the inspiration I used to have, so lots of things go wrong!

I don't know whether I will ever get back the ideas I used to have.

Remembering my favorite stamps

All my favorite Hero Arts stamps are represented on this grid.

I'm not too keen on always buying new stamps - I want to get the most out of what I've got, I want to appreciate them and develop new ideas with them too!

Inspirational cards from Nancy and Patty

If there is one thing that I love the most that is mixing and matching with papers and colors, thats why I love these type of cards!

Just recently I got hold of some papers from Eline Pellinkhof who has a Dutch line of stamps and patterned papers. The colors are quite bold but I was drawn to them nonetheless. But I'm finding it difficult to cut into the papers, so I thought I would use the packaging in which the papers came.... I'm all for recycling anyway.

I want to share two other cards which two of my blogging friends made showing a unique way of using inchies that I am definately going to try myself. The first one is a grid which has been placed inside a stamped frame which has been white embossed on black paper. I think it is stunning! Look how the black and white brings out the vibrant colors of the inchies which have been punched out of stamping projects. Excellent!

This is so BEAUTIFUL! The inchies have been moulded into a heart - I am definately going to have to try this. I also love the color choice.

Butterfly on inchie

I got a new camera for Christmas, got totally spoiled by my DH!

So, of course I had to try it out - I was really surprised how sharp the photo was! What a difference!

Grid behind an image

First I made made base with six patterned papers in dominant green.

I printed out the collage stamp I created, adhered it to a scrap of beige paper and centered it on the card.

Inchie photo

This is a tag I made this time last year. The inchie image is a favorite of mine, children round a Christmas tree.

I layered scraps of paper and then stamped over the top before I adhered the image and added a few flowers.

This brings back memories of certain papers I used to have but have no more... I like that.

Before the winter sets in in France, I'll have to post my fall card. The vineyards change to these colors from October to end November.
