Winner of the Edith Holden Book

Thank you for those of you that showed interest in the Book. It wasn't as popular as I thought it might be - that is everyone's personal taste, so there was a bigger chance to win for everyone who took part.

It is my husband's birthday tomorrow, so I asked him to pick out a paper. I put all your names on a piece of paper and in a bowl. I also entered somebody who sent me an E-mail that her computer wasn't working at it should be and if I would enter her, which I did.

So, without further ado, my winner is:

IRENE - who said:

 Hello Jacqueline
I have long been admirer of your work, infact you inspired me to make inchie cards. I would love the chance to win your stunning book.

and she happened to be the last one to comment - that is the luck of the draw!

So happy for you Irene. I will contact you for your address.

and I picked out a name to receive a card from me, which was

Penny (who sent me an e-mail).

Thanks everybody - I will be having more give-aways I'm sure in the future.

Have a lovely weekend!

  1. Thank You so much Jacqueline.

  2. Congrats to Irene, that really does look like a lovely book...enjoy!

  3. I have that book and love it and I might photo copy a page for some background paper, but I couldn't cut it up! I love the way you used it and was inspired to think about using some of the images from it for card background paper.

Thanks so much for your visit!

Mix and match and added sewing

Another way to use up all the snippets and cut-outs which need to find a home. The added feature to this card is sewing, which I love to do ...
