Left-overs grid

Another name for scraps, left-overs, peachy colors this time, arranged together and some of the squares have been stamped with a stitched frame stamp to add some interest.

This little stamp comes from the Mix and Match acyclic stamp set from Hero Arts.

Using scraps for a grid

I have a special little drawer where I put all the little scraps, unused projects etc. in, so that I can puzzle a grid together from time to time. It's something I enjoy and love to do.

This is green orientated with a vintage touch.

Two wrongs make a right!

This is the result of two cards ending up wrong, putting the square punch into them and making something of them. Actually I love this kind of creating.

All sorts of stamps on this one, including a flower stamp recently delivered from Artistic Outpost.

Watercolor Petals

I wanted to revive this Hero Arts acrylic stamp set which I don't use enough, so decided to use up some distressed backgrounds for it and if I am looking for something relaxing, I make a grid.

Shell grid with Alcohol Inks

Dreaming of the beach and shells, the sea and the lovely smell of fish, but unable to be there..

I love the sea.

Butterfly grid

I love creating in this fashion, especially with AI and different colors embossing powder, this time I chose silver. It is always a surprise how the squares will fall and look like when I puzzle them together after making the master board.

I also have a favorite gem or pearl I love to use, they are the Hero Hues from Hero Arts. The butterflies are from the Antique engravings set.

Butterfly inchies

These are inchie stamps, no cutting, no measuring, no punching, just stamping.

Have had these stamps from Crafty Individuals for a while, nice to get them out and use them for a change.

Dream

Stamped three different Shell stamps from Hero Arts Antique Engravings set onto glossy card stock (assembled onto an acrylic block together, don't stamp separately, saves time) with Versamark, let it dry for a minute, then I sponged different color distress inks with a summery feel to them over the top. I'm thinking here of sweet melons, strawberries, limes, lemons and blue skies!

Punched out the squares and assembled them in grid fashion. Added some string and a tag.
I chose the sentiment 'Dream' because a holiday by the Sea shall always be my dream holiday!

Inchie tags

It was a post by Chris that gave me the idea of making some tags, even though her post turned out to be a card :)

That is inspiration I suppose, it can happen in a flits.

Stamping on distress background

This is a mix of many stamps using distress inks and white ink creating shadows, which are hardly visible once it drys.

I added two little digital butterflies.

Grid in a diecut frame

Another way to use inchies. Just arrange them under a frame.

I have punched out squares from the Pink Paislee Butterfly Garden papers, added a prima and a button. I distressed the fame with antique linen and then stamped over the top with Hero Arts Envelope pattern design block.

Mix and match and added sewing

Another way to use up all the snippets and cut-outs which need to find a home. The added feature to this card is sewing, which I love to do ...
