I like this blog because I don't have to write a lot of information on it, just share what I made and keep it simple.
This is just a simple grid card using up some scraps and then finding just the right butterfly to finish it off

A grid with circles
Just using up some of the punched out circles, which I love to do, according to theme and color. This one reflects a bit of Nature.
We are having the most gorgeous summer, more outdoors than in. The swallows dominate the sky at the moment, especially when the evening air cools. They are such elegants creations and I love watching them.
Have a special day!

Using up the scraps
Mixing and matching some scraps which have come out of a lot of different projects which didn't emerge into anything. I just save every scrap and once and a while I punch out scraps and mix and match them all together.
I also punch out smaller squares and circles which fit onto a larger square.
This is such an enjoyable hobby, just like making puzzles!
Enjoy your free day today!

Postal Stamp
As somebody asked me about the Postal Stamp stamp which I used on my last post, I will show you the plate of stamps it came on. I liked several of these on the plate and did not purchase it for the postal stamp... I discovered that later on to my surprise and joy. It is the third one down on the right, I have put a little green dot on it. Actually, the one next to it, but one, to the left, could be used for the same purpose, but that is more difficult to cut out, but I am going to try it.
The postal stamp is just under 1,5" long and just over an inch wide (3,5x2,5cm).
If you want to find a stamp like this I suggest you google it or check out 'TOGA Printemps Rubber stamps'. TOGA is a French company and I presume they do not sell overseas. I do cut around mine although having a postage stamp punch would be great.
Good luck in finding one! Before I go I have made another one

Using a Postal stamp stamp
I found this little 'Postal stamp' stamp quite by accident on a plate of stamps already in my possession... On these cards I stamped out eight stamps on each card.
Just imagine the possibilities with all the little scraps and patterned paper snips you have!
It has given me so much joy, just to stamp on scraps with it and realize a different look to a card, every time.

A Spring Grid
Mixing and matching everything yellow to welcome the daffodils and everything else yellow that blooms at this time of year.
I used an embossed aperture that my friend Betty Keife sent me.

Alcohol inks and white embossing
After making an alcohol ink background on glossy paper, with three alcohol ink colors, I stamped the big background Lace design stamp, from Here Arts with Versamark, before white embossing. I punched out twelve 1 1/4 squares and assembled my grid. Made two cards.
Have a lovely weekend!

Using up the scraps!
A couple of grid cards, using up precious rests of cards, wine labels and patterned paper as well as stamped projects which didn't turn out as I wanted.
When I look at these I remember all the creativity that took place, which I enjoyed and still have the pleasure to bless others with a hand made card in the mail!

Mix and match and added sewing
Another way to use up all the snippets and cut-outs which need to find a home. The added feature to this card is sewing, which I love to do ...

Changing the source, but still the same style, I have been playing with old magazine covers and punching out inchies to create these cards. ...

Just a quick post to share a card I made which is quite big 6"x 6" using up the scraps. I have to admit that I am short of scraps!...
